If you are interested and would like to learn the craft of resoling and repairing climbing shoes we offer 4 courses.

Scott the founder of Scotty Dog Resoles has resoled more than 75,000 pairs of climbing shoes since July 2010. With our years of experience, we know more than the academics and will be able teach you everything you need to know. With over 50,000 hours on the tools, we know the subtleties of almost every type of shoe and rubber available in Australia since the first sticky rubber was invented. We can not only teach you what you need to learn but also how to keep the process simple.

INTRO 2 DAY

Our introduction course will teach you what you need to know and how to resole and maintain your climbing shoes.

INTERMEDIATE 7 DAY

This course will provide you with more than the basics to resole and maintain your climbing shoes as well as provide you with some advanced techniques to repair structural damage.

The intermediate course is also designed to provide you with the confidence and ability to go the next step and complete our 14-day course. Note: If you decide within 3 months to complete our Advanced Course, you will only need to pay the $2000 balance and attend the final 7 days to complete the course.

ADVANCED 14 DAY

If you are considering resoling climbing shoes as a career, then this is the course for you.

Note: If you are not sure of taking the 14-day plunge of the Advanced course but would still like to consider taking resoling seriously, please consider our Introduction or Intermediate course first.
